Haejo Food began harvesting and producing 'laver (Gim)' using traditional sun-drying methods in 1963 on Munbyeongdo, a pristine island in Haui-myeon, Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Now operated by its second generation, the company established a roasted laver processing plant in 2002 and has since been supplying freshly made and roasted laver to department stores and discount stores nationwide. We also supply to military units, school meal programs, and export overseas, consistently selecting and selling only the highest quality products to earned great acclaim.
